Matt Jubenville is the General Counsel of Midland Credit Management (MCM), Inc., an Encore Capital Group subsidiary.

An experienced financial services attorney, Mr. Jubenville is responsible for all legal activities across the organization. He has expertise in a wide range of relevant legal disciplines, including litigation, regulatory affairs, risk and compliance, cybersecurity, government affairs, licensing, etc. He joined the company in 2015, and previously served as Associate General Counsel, and as Senior Director of Legal Affairs and Litigation.

Prior to joining MCM, Mr. Jubenville practiced securities litigation, and dealt extensively with issues related to asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations.

Mr. Jubenville received an undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Development Biology, with distinction, from the University of Colorado. He then received a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a member of the law review.
